Volunteer

As a volunteer, you get to help in many ways. You could help in terms of conducting talks, assisting in promotional booths, doing research, translating work, working at administrative tasks (cutting newspaper articles, filing, keying in information and more).

You may also volunteer at the WCC Value Shop, a social entreprise of WCC where the proceeds collected goes to support WCC’s work for abused women and children. Our Value Shop is located at Island Plaza, Tanjung Tokong.

As a volunteer, how you help us depends on your interests, skills and time availability. When you apply, we will match you to our current needs.

Internship

Our internship program is open to local and overseas students in colleges and universities.

As our intern, you will experience a diversity of tasks, including assisting in workshops and webinars, creating PowerPoint and video presentations, designing posters for WCC’s social media, researching legal matters, observing counselling sessions and court proceedings, performing administrative tasks and assisting at WCC Value Shop. However, please note that interns are not allowed to counsel our clients directly due to the nature of our cases.

Internship at WCC is for a minimum of 1 month. You are also responsible for your own living and transportation costs if you are successful in your application.
