    RESPEK is an educational program specially designed for teens from ages 15 to 16. It looks at exploitative relationships among teenagers. This VCD production contains four short dramatisations of teens being easily manipulated by friends as well as teens allowing themselves to be used.

    Each short drama must be viewed on its own. Some questions presented at the end of each drama related to the problems that were depicted. Teens viewing the drama should then discuss these questions and how to deal with the problems.

    The latest educational VCD developed by WCC to teach children about personal safety against sexual violence. This VCD is divided into two parts. The first part is about feelings and how to use feelings to identify good touch and bad touch. The second part of the VCD has three short scenarios. Each scenario shows a child in a risky situation. At the end of each scenario, the victim will give an empowering message such as “keep on telling”, “break the secret” and “sexual abuse is a crime” to the children. The short scenarios are designed to facilitate discussion and interaction with the children on sexual abuse and how to prevent or handle such situations.

    Membina Perhubungan Mesra

    ‘Membina Perhubungan Mesra’ is a 35 minute educational VCD for teenagers. It is specially designed for teens from the ages of 15 and above. The main objective of this VCD is to create awareness on healthy relationships among teenagers. This VCD contains three short stories of teenagers in risky situations. The first story is titled ‘Abang Angkatku’, continued by ‘Mabuk Cinta’ (classroom love story), followed by ‘Lelaki Matang Trang Tang Tang’. It is advisable to watch each story separately. At the end of each story, a question is presented for students to discuss. Students are also encouraged to reflect what they have watched in the own lives and relationship with friends.
