Rape

Rape is a sexual act that uses violence and force. Rape is a heinous crime where the rape survivor is violated and humiliated. A person who is raped suffers emotional and physical trauma.

Rape is a brutal form of  violence against women. As long as society allows men to perceive women as insignificant and treat them as sex objects, rapists will behave as they wish and blame their uncontrollable sexual lust.

Each of us can play an important role by educating our family members, our colleagues and people we interact with. Men and women must treat each other with respect and women should not be treated as subordinates.

WCC strongly believes that no one deserves to be raped and no one has the right to rape.
